He is survived by: his brother Michael; his wife Deborah Miskura Kurtgis; his children, Lisa M. Stevens (Bill) of Allen Park, MI, Catherine I. Morrison (Arnold) of West Bloomfield, MI, Carl J. Kurtgis III (Jennifer) of St and Philip V. Kurtgis, Jr. of Daytona Beach; his stepchildren, Christopher M. Miskura (Nikki) of Loxahatchee and Ryan D. Miskura (Heather) of Wellington; his siblings, Neal V. Kurtgis of Port St, Byron P. Kurtgis (Lisa) of Franklin, TN., Micheal P. Kurtgis (Mercy) of Ft. Laud and Claire I. Kurtgis-Hunter (Paul) of Boca Raton; his close friend Ben Webb; and his pets, Pepper, Fritz II and Tiger. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
