It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George McMichael of Plantation, Florida, born in Quitman, Georgia, who passed away on September 12, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Stewart McMichael of Buena Vista and Laura Lilly McMichael of Quitman, GA; his wife Bonnie Grimmett McMichael; and his sister Eleanor McMichael Stewart. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
