She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Mungal and Margaret Mungal (Gurdeen); her husband Basdeo Mahabir; and her siblings, Stella Albert and Simeon Graham.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret Mahadeo, Joseph Mungal (Vidya), Mali Harripersad (Harry), Balroop Beebakhee (Gloria), Mohinee Hadeed (Marcus) and Ian Murray "Gomes"; her grandchildren, Madhuvanti Murphy (Mark), Chris Mahadeo, Ricky Mahadeo (Tracie), Wesley Mungal, Mikhail Mungal, Mark Harripersad, Dana Harripersad (Fazeel), Rajiv Beebakhee (Erica), Elizabeth Hadeed and Sameeh Hadeed; her great grandchild Zane Murphy; her brother Cyril Mungal; and also, Jennings Bobb, Dillon Bobb, Matthew Murphy, Fareeda Ali, Sue Mookram and Nicole Mahabir.
