She was predeceased by: her husband James Edward Vinson of Plantation, FL; her parents, Ralph Hampton and Dorothy Alexander Smith; her son Kenny Vinson; and her brothers, Ralph Smith, Jr. and Randolph Smith.

She is survived by: her daughter Joan Vinson Voyles (Rick) of Plantation, FL; her siblings, Hubert T. Smith of Seneca, SC, Dennis N. Smith of West Union, SC and Joyce S. Bibb of Westminster, SC; and her grandson Rich Voyles of Plantation, FL..
