He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Clemons Mullis; his siblings, Kess Mullis, Melvin "Shorty" Mullis, Florence Slaughter, Peggy Hilliard, Billy Joe Mullis and W. C. Mullis; and his children, Judy Woody, Michael E. Mullis (Ida) of Cochran, Marlene Southerland (Howard Wayne) of Keysville, FL and Melissa Mullis Butler of Riverview, FL. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
