She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Howard and Letha Christine Brown; her siblings, Billy Brown, Robert Howard, Jack Howard, Tommy Howard, Beverly Simmons and Carolyn Howard; and her grandchildren, Erika Lopez and Chase Corbett.
She is survived by: her siblings, Clifton Howard and Mabel Martin; and her children, Sherman Ashworth (Belinda), Angelia Corbett (Bruce) and Sonjia Garcia (Juan). She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
