She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Hughes and Ruby Hughes; her husband Melvin Jacobs; and her daughter Carol Baxter. She is survived by: her niece Linda Hartsfield; and her grandchildren, Heather Lunsford and Jack Marcum. She is also survived by five great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews, and cousins.
