He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrtle Mottley and Alvin Mottley; and his brother Thomas Mottley. He is survived by: his wife Sue Mottley; his sons, Steven Christopher Mottley and Joshua Thomas Harper; and his granddaughter Layla Willow Harper. He is also survived by two nieces and a great nephew.
