We bid farewell to Regina Ann Cooney of Panama City Beach, Florida, born in Providence, Rhode Island, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 25, 2024 at the age of 95. Regina touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Capron and Emma Capron (Breves); and her siblings, Robert, Raymond, Richard, William and Patricia Capron.
She is survived by: her husband Frank; her children, Dr. Gale Cooney-Akin (Rush Akin) and Brian Cooney (Lisa) of North Stonington, CT.; her siblings, Ronald, Lawrence, Dennis Capron and Janice Marenic; her grandchildren, Daryl Smith, Joshua Cooney Sr. and Melissa Petrangelo; and her daughters, Yolanda Melendez and Laura Martin.
