He is survived by: his wife Lorene "Lori" Peterson; his children, Samantha Peterson Priest (Douglas Priest) and Michael J. Peterson (Dianne Alesna); his grandchildren, Michaela Priest and Luke Priest; and his pet Chongo. He is also survived by other extended family and friends.
