She was predeceased by: her mother Jennie Durinick; her husband John "J. C." Clayson; her father George Durinick, Sr.; her stepfather Eugene Kowalski; and her brothers, Philip Kowalski and George Durinick, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Christine A. Mesta (Frank) and Edward M. Hoyler (Nora); her grandsons, Logan Mesta, Edward Hoyler and Jared Hoyler; her siblings, Linda Pandolfo (Sebastian) and Robert Durinick (Lucy); and her sister-in-law Belinda Durinick. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
