He is survived by: his children, Dr. Carol Schaffer (John Owen) and Gary Kirschenbaum (Michele); his grandchildren, Anna Schaffer (Sam Pardo), Amanda Frankel (Daniel), David Schaffer (Carly Cianci) and Jenna Kirschenbaum; and his great grandchild Jack Pardo.
