It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen D. Sylvia of Orlando, Florida, born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 20, 2024, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Stephen may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Stephen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his parents, Shelley A. Vescera (Mike) of West Warwick and Steve Sylvia (Pati) of Narragansett; and his siblings, Kerri, Beth, Evan, Alec, Dean and Dana. He is also survived by niece and many nephews, cousins and friends.
