With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Dennis Malcolm Purvis of Orlando, Florida, born in Savannah, Georgia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell Purvis and Velma Jean Purvis (Bacon); and his brother David Purvis. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Purvis (Hooks); his children, Geri Lynn and Nathan (Nikki); his grandchildren, Noah, Nash and Natalie; his sister Debra Lucius (John); his siblings-in-law, Steve (Sharen) and Shirley (John); and his nieces and nephews, Doug, Chris, Stephanie, Stacey and Jordan.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Delaney Street Baptist Church (1919 Delaney Ave, Orlando, FL 32806). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Woodlawn Memorial Park (400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd, Gotha, FL 34734).
