She was predeceased by: her mother Ruby E. Stewart; and her husband Robert R. Russell (Martin Marietta). She is survived by: her half-brothers, Frank M. Dalton and Chester Mack Dalton; her guardian angel Andrew Caldwell; and her grandson Andrew. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was a longtime member of Christian Women's Club, an informal bimonthly luncheon from about 2010 through dissolved in 2019 due to Covid.
