It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Magdalena Rico Miralfor of Orange Park, Florida, born in Honolulu, Hawaii, who passed away on April 12, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pablo Rico and Philomena Angelias Rico; her daughter Madelene Abihai; and her brothers, Albert Rico Sr. and Leo Valdez.
She is survived by: her husband Vito Miraflor; her children, Fredlynn Veloso, Adele Gardner, Cheryl McKnight (Tim), Vernice Grossglass (Donald), Vivien Wordsman (James), Shirlyn Souza (Sheldon), Frederico Pan, Jr., Victor Miraflor (Linda), Vincent Miraflor (Dimple), Ted Miraflor (Kim) and Vic Miraflor (Rose); and her siblings, Lolita Aguinaldo, Rosita Esperago and Bernard Cabebe. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren.
