He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Merle Holmes (Carr) and Albert Lee Holmes; and his wife Kathryn "Kitty" Holmes. He is survived by: his sons, Jason and Doug; his children-in-law, Monette and Terri; his grandchildren, Kyle, Max and Caleb; and his brother-in-law Gardner "Buddy" White. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews as well as close friends.
