He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Griffin and Mary Griffin; his siblings, Miles, Jamie and Donna; and his brother-in-law Roy Clark.

He is survived by: his wife Lillie; his children, Thomas (Jeanne), Jeffrey (Marcy), Krissy (Brian) and Jennifer (Dan); his grandchildren, Brandy, Andrew (Carissa), Jordan, Dylan, Lincoln, Xavier, Legend and Aiden; and his great grandchild Raylan.
