It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Alexander Stirling in Orange Park, Florida, born in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, who passed away on October 24, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Ruffin Stirling and Beulah Simmons Stirling; his wife Claudia Marie Stirling; and his sister Geraldine B. Stevens. He is survived by: his sons, Richard Nelson Stirling and Michael Wayne Stirling; his grandchildren, Addison Patrick Stirling and Leighton Nessa Stirling; his sister Diane Patricia Stirling; and his nieces, Michelle Kinney, Stacy Lindabury and Savannah White.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the American Cancer Society.
