He is survived by: his wife Janice; his son Lance; and his siblings, Ira Thompson Jr. (Susan), George Thompson (Vanessa), Sam Thompson (Angela), Kristi Whitfield (Mike), Gracie Thompson, Misty Thompson, Dora Brown (Shawn), Liz Thompson, LaVona Flynt (David), Brenda Mosley (Dan), Shasta Baldwin (Mark) and April Lee (Paul). He is also survived by his family's yearly reunions at his sister.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Carl's memory to Jacksonville Heights Baptist Church, 6730 Ricker Road, Jacksonville, Florida.
