She was predeceased by: her brother Mat Dyals. She is survived by: her husband Joel Ward, II; her sons, Wyatt, Braxton and Bryan; her parents, Darlene Higginbotham and Wayne Hurst; her siblings, Jason Hurst (Jane), Mandy Brock (Jonah), Julia Floyd (John) and Sarah Hurst; and her grandparents, Wade, Betty Higginbotham, Bearl and Linda Philmon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and other extended family.
