With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stillman Dingus (Okeechobee, Florida), born in Portsmouth, Ohio, who passed away on August 8, 2018 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Kim, Rogie, Danny,... " View Sign Okeechobee - Stillman Dingus, Jr. died Aug. 8, 2018. He was born June 6, 1942 in Portsmouth, Ohio to Stillman Dingus, Sr. and Mary Frances Belveal Dingus. He moved from Ohio in Indiantown in 1973. He relocated to Okeechobee 20 years ago. He was a founding member of the Okeechobee Airboat Association and enjoyed riding motorcycles, guns, hunting, fishing, and airboats. Mr. Dingus was preceded in death by his son, Stillman Dingus, III; and his daughter, Shelly Walker. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Loretta Dingus; son, Walker Dingus (Michelle), all of Okeechobee; daughters, Kelly Delgado (Gavino), of Stuart, and Mary Hayes (Billy), of Okeechobee; sister, Shirley Loevengudh (Roger), of Ohio; eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. The family will receive friends 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018 at Buxton & Bass Okeechobee Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Okeechobee, PO Box 1548, Okeechobee, FL 34973.
