He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Floyd McConkie and Dolores McConkie; his wife Karen McConkie; his children, Joshua McConkie of Lansing, MI, Kallie McConkie of Chicago, IL and Jacob McConkie of Cape Coral, FL; and his siblings, Mary Williams (Mike), Robert McConkie (Carol), Jane Miller (Tim) and Donald McConkie (Jennifer). He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
