He is survived by: his daughters, Denise O'Gara (Terry) and Linda Taylor (Ralph); his grandchildren, Renee Jackson, Angela Henson, Matthew O'Gara and Erin O'Gara; and his great grandchildren, Monique Carter, Andre Carter, Jr. and Montese Henson, Jr.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
