He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Mona McNew, L. Ralph Smith and Michael Susman. He is survived by: his wife T. Lauren Chadwell; his son William Aidan Smith; his parents, L. Brian Smith and Melissa Smith Cato; his stepfather Brett Cato; his sister Anna Smith; and his stepsiblings, Dakota Cato, Kyra Cato and Aaron Cato.
