It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter Emmett Traxler Jr. of Niceville, Florida, born in Plant City, Florida, who passed away on October 24, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter E. Traxler Sr. and Ina L. Traxler; his nephew Andrew Boswell; and his brother-in-law Gary Spooner. He is survived by: his wife Lois Traxler; his daughters, Renee Traxler and Monica Traxler; his granddaughters, Haleigh Smith (Kyle), Carley Hunter (Ethan), Emily Clarrey (Dylan) and Annaliese Traxler; his great grandchildren, Isabel Smith, Liam Smith and Leighana Clarrey; his sister Nadine Boswell (John); his niece Amy Lefevre; his sister-in-law Cheryl Spooner; his niece Kerri Gambrel; and his nephew Marc Spooner.

The family is accepting donations to One More Child, 1015 Sikes Blvd., Lakeland, FL 33815.
