With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Benton of Niceville, Florida, born in Fryeburg, Maine, who passed away on January 3, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Lou; his sisters, Evalyn, Elaine and Joan; his adoptive son Jimmy Ditch (Linn); his daughter-in-law Brenda Benton; his grandson Joshua Ditch; and his great grandchild Christopher "Cruz" Thompson.

He is survived by: his brothers, Avard and Alfred (Fritter); his children, Alfred (Rachel), Linda (Leonard), Robert and Chuck (Denise); his grandchildren, Jennifer, Robert "Kale", Holly, Andrew, Jessica, Timothy, Austin, Matthew, Katlin, Scott, Shane, Stacey and Nickie; and his great great grandchildren, Lincoln and Paxton. He is also survived by wife, family, adopted family and friends.
