She was predeceased by: her husband Linton M. Peters; her father Fitchue Gunnels; her granddaughter Kimberly Linton Peters; and her siblings, Norma Shaw Herndon, Charles "Doak" Gunnels and Paul E. Gunnels.
She is survived by: her aunt Opal Gunter; her son Jerry K. Peters (Linda) of Pensacola; her grandson Ken Peters (Mary); her great grandchildren, Sadie of Burbank and Kaden of Burbank; and her sisters, Patricia Halpain of Winnsboro and Ann Noska (Frank) of Winnsboro. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews and many, many friends.
