He was predeceased by: his parents, John Careccia and Laura Careccia; his former wife Josephine; and his sister Angelica Singleton. He is survived by: his wife Sofia (Lisa); his sister Angelina Careccia Bartone (Bill); his children, Loretta Kosiba (Ed), Joseph Careccia and Adrienne Moore (John); and his grandchildren, Jenny Williams (Josh), Erin DeLaney (Darrell), Nathan Kosiba (Regina), Dominick Decaria (Gwenda), Lauren Trevorrow (Daniel), Heather Vilela (Chuck) and Mandy Khaffaji (Dustin). He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the garysinisefoundation.org.
