He was predeceased by: his parents, William Godard and Isabel Crossman Godard; and his brothers, Gordon and Bill. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his sons, Andrew Godard (Juliet) of Port Orange and Michael Godard (Chelsea) of Austin, TX; and his granddaughters, Karissa and Natalie. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
