He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Gatto and Mildred Gatto (Hunt); his former wife Emma Gatto (O'Donnell); his grandson Gary John Gatto; and his brothers, Sam Gatto and Jim Gatto.
He is survived by: his wife Jacque Gatto of Port Orange, Florida; his children, Tim Gatto (Pam), Rick Gatto (Nancy), Anthony Gatto (Chris), Annette DiVita (Rick), Theresa Thomas (Doug), John Gatto (Beth), Judi Hahn (Rick), Jill Smith, Jenni Mounteer-Ross (Jeff), Jimmy Furches and Jeff Furches (Rachel); and his sister Mary Nielsen (John). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
