He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Dyer and Sally Dyer; his brothers, William, Carl, Roy and Robert Dyer (Emma Jean Overton); and his daughter Terry Lee Ashburn Bouchillon (Joe).
He is survived by: his wife Frances Joann Reed Dyer; his sister Barbara Jean Woodard; his children, Amy Dyer (Lamont), Connie Gail Teague (Steve), David Ashburn (Barbara) and Mark Dyer (Tammy); his grandchildren, Eric (Kelsi), Chris Ashburn (Kelly), John, Allison Dyer (A. J.), Sharnai Thompson, Payne, Taylor Bouchillon, Curtis Creekmur (Sheri) and Jeremy Swaggerty; and his great grandchildren, Barrett, David, Andrew, Addison, Briggs, Radford and Jones Ashburn.
