It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy L. Kernica of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, born in Evergreen Park, Illinois, who passed away on June 4, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Frank; and her siblings, Frank and Marianne. She is survived by: her husband Leo Kernica; her children, Sharon Wiley (Bob) of New Smyrna Beach and Jay Kernica of Deland; her grandsons, Jed Wiley, Ross Wiley (Melissa), Jeff Wiley (Shelley) and Josh Kernica; her great grandchild Fisher Wiley; and her caregiver Amanda.
