He was predeceased by: his parents, Wes Galbreath and Elsie Galbreath (Jontes); and his son Kevin. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann Cummings (Betty) of Boston; his children, Patricia, Christopher III, Michael, John and Kathleen Barnette (Michael); his grandchildren, Shannon, Haley, Amber, Ariel, Mary Ann, John Jr., Joseph, Killian and Taylor; his siblings, Roy (Judy) and Marcy; and his niece Lori Comer (Trevor). He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Southeast Volusia Historical Society (120 Sams Ave., New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168).
