He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter McGarvey and Eleanor McGarvey; and his daughter Kimberly Noblit. He is survived by: his close friend Kathy Blay Merriman; his children, Kristen McGarvey and Matthew McGarvey; and his brother Dennis McGarvey. He is also survived by four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and three nieces.
