He was predeceased by: his parents, Naomi McGinnis and Francis McGinnis; and his siblings, Richard, Bob, Francis, Ronnie, Arthur and Jeanie McGinnis.
He is survived by: his sisters, Carol Katona and Maureen Griffiths; and his children, Mark McGinnis (Linda), James McGinnis Jr., Brian McGinnis (Wendy), Randy McGinnis, Lisa McGinnis Basti, Jeffrey McGinnis (Robbin) and Kathy McGinnis (Bob). He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, and 11 Great Grandchildren.
