With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John W. Rees Sr. of Naples, Florida, born in Highland, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 18, 2024 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Rees and Verla Rees. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Rees; his sons, John William Rees Jr., Michael Henry Rees (Lynn), David James Rees and Allen Matthew Rees (Tina); his adoptive daughter Susan Rees; and his grandchildren, Lea Collins (Andrew), Amanda Rees, Sarah Riley (Cris), Chris Rees, Emily Sage (Derrick), Nicole Dutt (Michael), Andrew Rees, Donald Rees (Renuka), Steven Rees (Anna), Casey Frank (Josh), Nathan Rees and Zachary Rees. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; along with many friends.
