He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Jones and May Marie Jones (Galbraith); his son Bradley "Scott" Jones; and his siblings, Kenneth, Wayne and Eva.

He is survived by: his wife Kathy Turner Jones of Mulberry, Florida; his children, Heather Struthers (Jay) of Polk City, Kim Fischer (Bob) of Tonka Bay, Minnesota and Blake Taft (Darcy) of Moorhead, Minnesota; his brother Arlis Jones of New London, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Lil Jay, Brialle, Leland, Luke, Lindsey and Zack; and his great grandchildren, Bella and Brayden. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
