He was predeceased by: his mother Esther DeVita; and his sister Estelle Mancini. He is survived by: his father John Joseph; his wife Jill; his children, Philip John DeVita (Mary Beth) of Apopka, Travis DeVita of Apopka, Deborah Ann Omerovic (Selmir) of Orlando, FL and Denise DeVita of Loxahatchee, FL; his sister Angela Pear (Meir) of Sunrise, FL; his grandchildren, Anthony Joseph DeVita, Philip John DeVita, Jr., Joseph John DeVita, Alecia Damico, Deidra Slachter and William Gallagher; his nephew Vincent Mancini (Patti) of Hartsdale, NY; and his pet Lucy. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
