She was predeceased by: her parents, J. T. Tate and Dora B. Combs; and her child Dale L. Smith (Susie). She is survived by: her sister Doris Gibson; her daughter Diane Y. Hetrick (David); and her grandchildren, Natalie Shaw, Gina Harden, Brian Hetrick, Anna Smith and Emma Smith.
