He was predeceased by: his parents, David Haynes and Goldie Haynes. He is survived by: his children, Franklin P. Haynes of Reddick, FL, Cheryl Winningham of Morriston and Rebecca Farr of Morriston; and his sister Francis King of Yager, WV. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and other extended family.
