He was predeceased by: his parents, Edith Kelly and Charles Edward Kelly; and his sisters, Virginia Sroka, Bernice Sroka and Patricia Globke.
He is survived by: his children, Maureen, Charles J. Jr. and David; his wife Kay M. Kelly; his son John Kelly; his daughter-in-law Ursula; his grandchildren, Sarah Kelly Giguere (Mark) of Niceville, Florida and John Kelly; his daughter Debbie Kelly; and his grandchildren, Steven, Bryan, Elizabeth and Aaron.
