He is survived by: his daughter Paula Brittain (Bobby) of Glen St; his stepdaughter Lindsey Carter (Chris) of Jacksonville; his sons, John Patrick Lane Jr. (Beth) of Oceanway, Roy Michael Lane of Glen St, Daniel Keith Lane (Michelle) of Bryceville and Scott Cruse (Amanda) of Middleburg; his brothers, Mike Flahavin (Cathy) of Indianapolis and Jerry Flahavin (Kasia) of Tinley Park, Illinois; and his wife Linda Lane. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
