He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Lee and Hazel Edna Gambill (Wilson); and his wife Patsy Gambill. He is survived by: his children, Ray E. Gambill, Jr. (Jackie) of Melrose, Carolyn Hodgman (George) of Keystone Heights and Russell E. Gambill (Carol) of Viera; his sister Paula Whitcomb of Stockton; and his uncle Lamar Wilson of Jacksonville. He is also survived by "Grandpa" and "Granddaddy" by eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
