He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elva O'Neal and Henry N. Shipp; his brother Henry Shipp; his wife Betty Shipp of Madison; his sons, Robert John Shipp, Jr. (Roberta) of Hewitt and Kevin Shipp (Tonia) of Panama City; and his grandchildren, Erica, Amber, Heaven, Eric, Riley and Kevin, Jr.. He was also cherished by 10 great-grandchildren.
