He is survived by: his wife Marsha M. Bates of Taylor; his children, Mckayla Bates of Taylor, Karen Watts of Bay Minette, Jessalyn Davis of Taylor, Rebecca "Bek" Parker of Macclenny, Steven Jordan of Macclenny and Kellen Jordan of Macclenny; his siblings, Henry Bates of Wadley, Alabama, John Bates of Wadley, Alabama, Sue Barber of Oxford and Kathy Dorminey Hooper of Ohatchee, Alabama; and his grandchildren, Jessica, Raylee, Lynsey, Anthony, Logan, Brianna, Kyla, Kierra, Aric, River, Gideon, Wade, Rhys, Jordyn and Kaleb. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Beachie's name, Thomas Bates, to Project Lifesaver International c/o Baker County Sheriff's Office.
