It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Polan (Lynn Haven, Florida), born in Roanoke, Virginia, who passed away on May 20, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Garst and Elwyn Ferguson. She is survived by: her children, Rick Sossaman, Teresa Tuno (Bob), Cindy McMann and Sharon Sossaman Carroll (Robert); her sister Erna Mae Lindsay; and her grandchildren, Nannie, Samantha Tuno, Jason Tuno, Richard Sossaman, Layne Sossaman, Sean McMann, Mia Carroll and Gianna Carroll. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid 19, the family will have a private service at Southerland Event Center on Friday, May 29, 2020.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or Feeding America (feedingamerica.org) in memory of Shirley Ann Polan.
