She was predeceased by: her husband Joe K. Whitley. She is survived by: her sons, John J. K. Whitley (Eva) and Bryan W. C. Whitley; her brothers, Billy Alton, Cecil "Duffy" Alton (Ieda) and David Alton (Ann); and her grandchildren, John Whitley (Katie) and Jennifer Mejia.
