He was predeceased by: his parents, James Randall Damron and Elizabeth Irene Damron; and his brother Johnny Ben Damron. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Brock Damron; his children, James Farrell Damron (Teresa) and Dale Calhoun (Casey); his grandchildren, James F. Damron Jr., Amber Kennedy (Andrew), Ashleigh Damron, Joshua Damron, Jacob Damron, Tristan Fite and Taylor Fite; his great grandchild Mollie Grace Kennedy; and his sister Louise Lester.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to Emerald Coast Fellowship Backpacking or Happy Soles ministries.
