She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Abbott and Beulah Abbott; her husband James C. Hance; and her brothers, Sonny Abbott and Larry Abbott.

She is survived by: her children, James H. Hance (Paige) and Joanie Adams (Larry); her sister Barbara Brown; and her grandchildren, Josh Hance, Brandi Curry, Ashley Hance, Joey Benson and Adam Hance.
